General information
The module Model provides tools to analyze, model and consider forest inventories, taper curves, growth and yields, timber prices, and administrative regimes.
__Inventories
- The window Inventory, the user can use sample plot measurements to create aggregated stand level measurements.
- The inventory window provides tools to estimate height and volume equations.
- More information in Inventory.

Height and volume functions and parameters.
__
Taper curves
Taper curves
- The window Taper curve provides tools to enter taper measurements to estimate taper models.
- Taper curve models allow (i) more preceise estimations of volumes, and (ii) optimizing the portfolio of wood assortments (e.g. pulp, sawlog).
- More information in Taper curve.

Taper curvs and parameters.
__
Growth and Yield
Growth and Yield
- The window Growth and yield provides modelling tools for equations of volume growth at the stand level, models to estimate the development of various median stand attributes (DBH, G, Hdom, N), and diameter distribution models.
- More information in Growth and yield.

Growth model and parameters.
__
Timber prices
- In the window Timber prices, the user can create price lists,
- Different price lists can be created for different variables (e.g. regions, species, assortments, harvest types).
- Timber prices influence optimization when using taper curves.
- More information in Timber prices.

Timber price list.
Regimes
- In the window Regimes, the user can define silvicultural and harvest operations.
- The operations are adjusted with user-modifiable parameters.
- The user can assign various costs (e.g. labor, material) to each operation.
- More information in Regimes.

Example of a management regime.
